Our Philanthropy Partners

A Better Chance works to develop leaders from underserved communities by offering them access to educational opportunities at highly competitive college preparatory schools nationwide. News Corp’s partnership helps build a critical pipeline of diverse talent by providing students with the education necessary to achieve their full potential.

The Posse Foundation?connects urban high school students and post-9/11 veterans with extraordinary leadership potential to top colleges across the country. Posse Scholars receive full-tuition funding as well as peer support and faculty mentoring. News Corp’s support for Posse’s STEM and Veterans programs addresses the underrepresentation of African Americans, Hispanic/Latinos and women with degrees in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Urban Alliance?provides workforce readiness training and paid internships to economically disadvantaged high school students, 99% of whom are students of color. As a News Corp Philanthropy Partner, Urban Alliance received assistance to work with Martha’s Table in training more than 1,000 students of color in Southeast DC and help them prepare for lifelong economic self-sufficiency

News Corp Philanthropy Leaders Forum

Beyond financial support, we are also committed to creating a community of learning and sharing for philanthropic leaders. Each year we host the leaders of the over 40 organizations that we support in the US at our Philanthropy Leaders Forum. These leaders spend the day sharing best practices and hearing from industry experts on the topics that they have surfaced as their most important challenges and opportunities. We are especially proud of the number of innovative partnerships that have developed between organizations as a result of their time spent together at the Leaders Forum.
